Submitting a Takedown Notice
Your notice must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- Identification of the material to be removed (URL) and enough information to locate it.
- Your contact information (name, address, phone, email).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
Counter-Notification
If you believe your content was removed in error, you may send a counter-notice that includes:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the removed material and where it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the content was removed due to mistake or misidentification.
- Your contact information and consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or where the service provider is located), and that you will accept service of process from the complainant.
Repeat Infringers
It is our policy to terminate accounts of repeat infringers when appropriate.
Misrepresentation
Submitting a false claim or counter-notification may result in legal consequences, including damages and attorney's fees.
